went for fb girls outing today
hahaha, it's picnic at pasir ris park
well, i don't know how long i've nt been to a picnic le
it's a potluck picnic but only 10 pple turn up =(
had fun browsing through diff. schs' yr book...haha
browse through my rv yr bk, mgs, commonwealth and cat high's yr book
saw quite a few familiar faces,haha.
oh, and we spotted Paul Twohill in the cat high yr bk by chance...lol
we climbed the pyramid thing! =)
but well, it rained!!!
so went to white sands shopping centre instead, where we played cards and talk!
i managed to get a pair of hello kitty earstuds!yippee!(ok,i think i 've to be more thrifty now.)
alright, it's the start of the marathon tmr i guess
time to buck up!

Went to school at 8 plus in the morning
ha, played tennis with abi sher and karen! ok,i'm so kuku with tennis :P
but well, it's still fun! :)
good workout after natls when i didn't really run...lol...and help to relieve stress?ha.
then went to check out the jnrs training
jas joined us halfway and we all ate lunch and mug! ha, glad tt some econs stuff actually went into my head.FINALLY!
alright,back to serious stuff. 10 more days before the start of mid -yrs.

but how well prepared am i?

Ha...so tired today
but didn't do alot of stuff
the fact is tt i was slacking for the whole day! and i actually get tired...lol
initially wanted to mug with jas in sch in the morning (well another reason is coz i'm lazy to walk the main gate..) but then it turn out to be a chit-chatting session with jas...lol
then it was exco interview with the jnrs in the afternoon...turn out to be quite interesting though =)
hope the jnrs aren't freaked out by our qn =P
the interview is so much more relaxed and informal as compared to last yr...
it's like at amphitheatre where it's open spaced and we're sitting on the floor VS last yr when it's in a closed-door classrm with the snrs and teachers sitting in front of you
Time really flies...and it's time to hand over.

Hmmm...life seems to be quite diff. now
I'm still adapting to the sudden change
Now it seems like I'm more "free"...
well,to be specific,life seems to be more carefree now
it does really make me think of quite a lot of stuff
from how i came to nj to how i survive through the hectic month of feb&march to coping with intensive trainings and sch work
everything seems to juz whiz pass...too fast too furious...lol
though i know along the way i've complained how tiring and hectic it was for the past few months, i do hope tt time could rewind as i know the happiness tt i gt from this "carefree" life is going to be short-lived...
it hasn't been very pleasant for the past few days though
where my class is so "lucky" to "celebate" for the "joyous event"..hoho
but too bad...feedback is gonna be ptless when they are juz gng to push everything back to us
well,nt gng to let tt affect my mood =) nt worth it
ooh, 4c class gathering @ lot 1 later! woots! =D

End of the fb nationals season
The team has trained so so hard together
but sometimes, life is juz so unfair
I admit tt it was a moment of anguish when the final whistle was blown

Suddenly, my heart felt so empty.

Suddenly, i miss those trainings at acs barker, even though it always end really very late

Suddenly, i miss those morning pt, even though we've got lesser sleeping time

Suddenly, i miss those court trainings, even though it's inconvenient for the team

Suddenly, i miss all the friendly matches that the team had, where we all fight hard together

Suddenly, i miss those line trainings that we had after sch in the gym

Suddenly, i miss the lunch/dinner that the team had together after training, where we would talk & laugh our hearts out

All i want to do now is to keep these precious memories deep in my heart
We've lost the match
But we will not lose these precious moments that we had

Ooh...ice bath today!!! =D
but of course is xian1 ku3 hou4 tian2...ran 3-5 sets of big 17 and then 4+3+2+1 rounds...think i kind of nvr run tt much for some time...coz after running 4 rounds i feel like puking =X...well,first time run till i feel nausea. =(
but well, i'm proud tt i persevered through! =)the team too!
and the ice bath is fun! haha,like some team bonding session...
feels quite shuang to be the first to get "ice-bathed"...haha.
hope it helps in "treating" my shin...

Woah...these 3 days has been rather taxing for me
was rather tired...frm the camp, trainings, physiotherapy session at AH and 2 consecutive friendly matches
but everything is definitely worthwhile! :)
played against RV on wed...the feeling is weird...lol
we won =D
played against RJ on thurs...somehow i felt that i was more calm and composed throughout the whole match,in fact before the whole thing...perhaps after playing a match a day before gives me a sense of security...lol
felt really proud of the team! ;) esp. for the RJ match, where every1 is still like feeling so tired frm the camp and RV friendly. gd job! =D

oh, was watching Perfect Cut 2 ystd and I thought this was quite meaningful:

SSEF results out today!
well, didn't win anything though...but i felt really happy for those friends who won =)
and i really know quite alot of pple during these 2 days
we even exchange contacts...heh
though these 2 days may seem to be kind of waste time...i still think it's a nt bad experience afterall...geez.

i totally like the poster tt i design! =D gt a few judges and public praise on the design of it...haha =D

haha..these 2 HC guys gt gold award for their SSEF k..damn zai eh...the booths of the 4 of us are actually nxt to one another...so we talk quite alot...even gt "mini conference"..haha..the 2 of them are very nice and friendly!so the 4 of us didn't end up stoning throughout the whole SSEF...lol.congrats to the both of them! =D

haha,this VJ guy is frm IMRE...he join the nj pple for safety training during our attachment...a friendly person too!so coincidental,he's naima's ex-classmate too...woah...the world is sure so small

our SSEF clique...the 5 of us usually stick together during SSEF...eat lunch,tea breaks...kill time with them...esp. during the judging day...lol

haha,saw yiming at SSEF too!quite long nvr see her liao...

after SSEF, went to eat dinner with wayne hongjie and cyu...
haha...they treat me to swensens!yea!this is the earthquake tt wayne and cyu treat...doesn't look very nice in this pic...oh,and hongjie treat the 3 of us to the main course too! =)

Haha...today is quite a smooth sailing day for me...geez
which makes me really happy today...lol
woke up at 6.15 am...report to sci centre with shirt,fbt and slippers...when all other ssef participants are like wearing their sch uniform...quite shuang...lol
start off my presentation pretty well...i think
at least i know wat i'm saying...quite a morale booster
nxt 2 presentations was ok too...one of my judges is actually kahyee"s mentor!so coincidental...haha.
and everything end rather early than expected...so went TSH with kahyee for fb training
along the way i think both of us a bit too high already..haha
like the whole sci attachment is officially over
1 super big burden off my shoulders...laxing now...lol
results for ssef out tmr.all the BEST for every1 and tmr is another laxing day for me...geez. =D

NJ road run today!
hmmm,nothing very special happened though
the floorballers attempted to run together
but our starting point puts us in a disadvantageous position...or else sheryl,mat & liying could have gotten medals leh
so we set our timing at 25 min for 3.6 km
but we actually manage to run back within 20 min! woah,so proud of the team!

after the event,went far east plaza to eat lunch with s02 fballers
and oso i bought a new bagpack! yea!
i think it's nice...haha

which marks the end of my H3 journey
kind of formal eh...like we graduate frm sch...even graduation frm sch oso nt so formal
k,gotta admit tt i knew alot of friends through this H3 programme(esp. the IMRE pple!)
and tt makes it the most meaningful & enjoyable part of H3
stronger friendship bond oso...haha...the 5 08s02 pple
we're really like the mental & physical support for each other
sometimes i do wonder how those pple can survive when they're the only one taking H3 frm their class
woah...all this are really priceless =)

Chem prac was fun and funny today...haha
Every1 is like so excited abt the "silver mirror" thing...
Guess wat, wayne & i succeeded in getting a nice silver mirror!!! =D Yea!
Even Ms Tai agrees...haha...so proud of it...heehee
it was quite funny when we're comparing it with kahyee and juehong
(P.S kahyee,rmb wat wayne said abt the condition required for nice silver mirror?Hee hee... xP)
But then i think both of us are super blur during prac...lol.
like initially we thought the unknown we're using for every test is cyclohexane...
but well,still very fun, really couldn't stop laughing throughout the chem prac.

Floorballers' flag day for SAC today!
wow,first time organising CIP...
've to really admit tt soon kiang & i were quite stress in handling this CIP proj for the team
frm the admin stuff to carrying out the flag day etc.
perhaps we're perfectionists..lol
but it turned out to be well =)
some pple even had strangers donating to them 50 bucks and 10 bucks @ 1 go...lol

Woots! It's 2009!
A brand new yr!
Pple busily coming up with their new yr resolutions
Bet i'm nt going to come up with any this yr
coz i don't really follow yr after yr
But well,let's look in the "long term" instead
The issue of wat course to take in uni POP up in my mind on 1/1/2009
sounds a little early but it's still gd to 've a goal in mind
to motivate myself
shall split up the courses to different category

Category 1: Dreams

1) My 1st option is to be Paediatrician, which = medicine course. Nt tt i want to make big $$$...but after watching shows like TVB Hongkong Drama "The Last Breakthrough", it does motivate me to help those who're less fortunate. And i think little kids are very cute!!! =D

2)Hotel management is another "dream" course i wish to take up. I think it's pretty interesting to work in the tourism sector.But it seems like s'pore didn't really 've many uni offering such courses & my parents insist me to stay in s'pore to study.So i bet it would be really quite a dream for me.

Category 2: Reality

1) To study environmental science. I think my bro and i are like born to love geog. stuff...lol. So mayb i may end up as a researcher someday or mayb saving the world frm global warming.Haha. =P

2) To run a Hello Kitty shop = business course. i think it is a nice everyday experience to sell and stock up my store with something tt i like.=)

3) To be a teacher. didn't really want to be a teacher...but it seems like every personality test i took, the tests nvr fail to mention tt i'm suited for this job. So i may consider taking up teaching,but the probability is nt very high i guess...

Well,tt would be the end of my 1st 2009 post!

mood:

went for training today
but then to realize tt i couldn't train
at least for a few days =(
well,coz of my arm joint injury
i tried to shoot during training today
but then all i felt was pain at e joint after tt
no choice but gotta stop
if nt, i think it will aggravate
coz now is like even when i didn't move, it's oso quite pain =( =( =(
initially i was wondering why i had this problem
only to know today tt
(most prob) is coz of exerting too much force on my joint when i try to shoot
coz according to chewyan, Louis gt a similar injury b4 as he exerts too much force when doing drag shot
will ask coach more abt this problem nxt wk...or if possible ask louis(well provided i see him)
i don't want to go see doctor! coz i know what would happen if i consult doctor --- no trainings!

"What a close shave"
An implosion happened in the fumehood I'm working today
well,i was like using the fumehood less than a minute before the implosion occur
i couldn't imagine what would have happened to me if I've stayed longer
i bet i would have end up in the hospital and not being able to blog now
thank goodness tt for a split sec, i thought of getting the plastic container to hold my sample
and when i'm finding for it, there goes the BIG bang
well,sounds like i'm the one who cause the implosion right? geez, well i'm not the one.
but frm this incident, it make me realize how friendly the pple in IMRE are...
a few pple who usually work in my lab asked me if i'm ok etc. when they saw me
it's pretty nice to work in such friendly environment,isn't it? =)

Played 3V3 tournament at Valhall yesterday
overall,the experience was ok...though with some unpleasant encounters
teamed up with karen liying and amelia for this tournament
great time playing with them! =)
after the tournament, had meeting with the guys exco @ some soya milk and dough fritters shop
end up reaching home at 10 am...zzz
sigh...still gt piles of hw not touched yet
and my h3 report...ssef application
i'm tired

i want a shoulder for me to lean on

my upper arm joint kind of hurt during stickwork today
perhaps I've been doing the wrong stuff
all the fballers are getting injured recently

Woots! Went to Valhall for fb training today =)
I totally like tt training ground..though it's super humid
The grip for the shoes is gd, the passing of the ball is smooth
Geez, hope to go there for training more often
Still gt 4 more trainings @ Valhall
And there's this upcoming 3V3 fb tournament this sat @ Valhall too..
Looking forward to it =)
Would be an eye-opener for the team again

Today @ NUS is really a race against time
I've got to work in Lvl 2 & Lvl 5 labs...within a few hours, i don't know how many times I ran up and down of IMRE building...
furthermore,coz I'm carrying chemical solutions, I could only take the cargo lift...zzz...which is super slow
oh ya,fballers went to iceskate today..ooh...then kahyee and I were stuck in NUS
=( Sigh
Even my mentor is going Europe for vacation nxt wk..rahh
But well, luckily my synthesis of products was successsful today..whew
Yawn. :O

won't be going for trainings this wk except for fri... =(
coz of my H3...sigh
i feel like begging my expt to work out...

ok..this is supposed to be blogged like 3 days ago..but then well i was too tired and busy for the past 3 days, despite the fact tt PW is finally over
felt tt OP wasn't as gd as the 3rd dry run...we stumble quite a few times..we're really very nervous tt day...though we're trying to act as calm as possible..lol
jiaying and xtina is like the extremes in our grp
jiaying is like super calm whereas xtina is like so nervous till we say she went crazy le..lol
overall,i still think it's a very gd effort!we know tt we've put in our BEST effort le. =)
well,right after PW, my days are like stuck with H3 research...
firstly, i met up with my teacher advisor,mr nick chan,who actually gave me a "surprise test" on thurs..zzz...luckily he say nt bad...but my reasoning for my expt is still quite bad
also,my previous expt failed,so i gotta redo again =(
zzz...the purification part is so so so....tedious...rahh
luckily i succeed in my first part and my mentor praised me!yay!!! =)
nxt wk i'm gng to continue with the 2nd part...well,still a long way to go
yawn... :O

Woke up at 3 am today!!!
my family took a taxi to send my bro off at airport
the road a 3+ am it seems to be very tranquil
there's like a big contrast in my housing estate as wat I 've seen normally...
reached the airport @ like 4.30 am
This is the control tower...tt's how it looks like at 4+ am

For PT today, guess how many rounds I ran???
Nt 1, nt 2 nor 6. It's 5+4+3+2+1=15 rounds within the timing set by Mr. Latif + 2 rounds of warm-up under the super hot sun
Oh man,i'm so proud of myself! =D and to those who ran today, gd job pple! =)
break the fb team previous record of running 12 rounds in a day..lol
after PT, went to Lot1's Pastamania to eat dinner with coco-nutz,yj,ty and ym.
very long nvr see them
talk quite alot
know some "new" stuffs..haha..yj you know wat i meant..lol
miss them very much
ym and ty gave me my belated bday present
a red & white I.P.Zone jacket =)looks like trackers' jacket..and it's definitely very nj..lol
Oh! there's a new Sanrio shop set up in Lot1!
bought a Hello kitty plastic folder to contain all my fb doc. and also a super nice Casio digital watch (which i kind of urgently need it)!
kk...feeling super tired now...
working on PW tmr...yawn
